DOUGLAS RUSSELL YOUNG Douglas Russell Young passed away peacefully at Victoria General Hospital on September 10, 1999. Born December 19, 1914 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. After attending Kelvin High and business college, he was employed by the C.N.R. for several years prior to serving with the R.C.N. in Halifax. Doug was later employed by Air Canada in Winnipeg and Montreal until his retirement. Predeceased by his son, Terry. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Joyce (McElmoyle) son, Brent (Vicki) daughter, Janice (Ken) Smith; grandchildren, Scott, Kelly, Kerry and Tracy and brother, Mac of Winnipeg, MB. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 15 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Pauls United Church, 2410 Malaview Ave., Sidney. Rev. Stephen Hershey officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may made to St. Pauls United Church or a charity of choice in loving memory of Doug. Haywards - Sidney
