RICARDO SANTOS 1940-1999 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear husband and father Ricardo Santos Jr. on Saturday, September 11, 1999 at the age of 59. Predeceased by his father Ricardo Santos Sr. and mother Luisa Evangelista, Ricardo will be lovingly remembered by his wife Warlie, his daughter Geraldine, sister Ligaya Santos Co and family (Philippines) and brother Percy Santos and family (Philippines), sister-in-law Lydia (Alex), brother-in-law Rod (Annie) and children Christopher and Ashley, sister-in-law Beth (Richard) and daughter Rachelle from Toronto and all of his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law and their families from the Philippines and California. He will be greatly missed by his friends and relatives from Winnipeg, Toronto, Vancouver, Quebec and Saudi Arabia. Viewing (Lamay) will take place on Friday, September 17 between 6:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m., in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 232 Kennedy St., with prayers being said at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday,September 18 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Marys Cathedral, 353 St. Mary Ave., with Rev. Fr. Darrin Gurr presiding. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. Pallbearers will be Rod, Alex, Lito, Chris, D.J. and Randy.
