ERVEN ALBERT LITKE Erven, formerly of Winnipeg, passed away at East Gate Lodge, Beausejour on Monday, September 13, 1999 at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Alice, he leaves to cherish his memory, son Ronald (Linda) daughter Beverley Mykietowich (Albert) grandchildren Shieleen Mossop (Ken), Darren Litke (Eun Hee), Brent and Cory Mykietowich; great-grandsons, Brandon and Jared Mossop and Bryce Litke. He is also survived by sisters, Edith Molinski, Pauline Naaykens (John), Violet Salway (Gordon), Doreen Roth (Ron), and his brother Emil Litke (Jean), their families and many friends. Besides his beloved wife Alice, he was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Pauline Litke and brothers, Bill and Fred (Jr.), and by one brother-in-law Frank Molinski. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 17 at 3:30 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Litkes memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 302-252 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8 or to the East Gate Lodge, Box 1690, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staff at East Gate Lodge for their loving care and kindness. God saw you getting tired, He wanted to set you free, So he closed His arms around you, And whispered "Come to Me". Thanks for the years you gave us, And for the time we shared, We only pray that when you left us, You knew how much we cared, Gods garden must be beautiful, For He only takes the best.
