ISABEL IRENE MACKAY (nee RICHARDSON) Born on January 19, 1918 in Southwestern Manitoba by Belleview. Passed away peacefully on September 15, 1999 with her family at her side at the St. Boniface Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bob Mackay and son of 51 years, Lloyd. Irene entered nurse training in 1939 at the Brandon General Hospital. She was known for her kindness and softness and retired with 40 years experience in seven different Manitoba hospitals. She always enjoyed the fellowship of the Bethel Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 17 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception to follow. She will be sadly missed by Bob and Lloyd, as well as two grandchildren Darryl and Deanna Mackay.
