ELSIE MILLICENT KONKLE (nee PELLOW) Peacefully at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg, on September 15, 1999, in her 97th year. Elsie is survived by her son Ralph Knight (Frederica) of Winnipeg; grandson John (Delia) and great-grandsons, Matthew, Sean and Brenden of Steinbach and by cousins in Ontario. She was born in Toronto on June 28, 1903 to Sarah and William Pellow and lived there until 1973, when she moved to Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her first husband Frank Knight and by her second husband Lorne Konkle. Elsie was active in sports as a young woman and enjoyed them as a spectator for the rest of her life. She will be deeply missed by all her family. Sincere thanks go to all the second floor staff at the Convalescent Home for their thoughtful care during her stay. A memorial service will take place on Monday, September 20 at 1:00 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Following cremation, interment will take place at Pine Hills Cemetery, Toronto.
