ARTHUR LAMB Aged 87 years, formerly of Lachine and Dorval, PQ, at Milton District Hospital on Monday, September 13, 1999, Mr. Arthur Lamb of Milton. Dearly loved husband of over 60 years of Lillian Lamb (nee: Breen). Deeply mourned by his children, Bruce of Georgetown, Louise and her husband Steve Prevost of Milton, Gordon and his wife Dini of Georgetown. Beloved grandfather of Sharon and her husband David Poirier, Michael Lamb, Matthew, Shannon and Jordan Prevost, and Mitchell Lamb. Art was retired from Air Canada, and was past president and an honourary life member of the Lachine Curling Club. Art was a member of the Governor Generals Curling Club (1991), and was inducted into the Canadian Curling Hall of Fame in 1979. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 18, at St. Pauls United Church, 123 Main St. E., Milton, ON at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow in the church hall. All friends, neighbours and curling cronies are welcome. At the familys request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Red Cross, or a charity of ones choice.
