Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIOLET HELENE REYNOLDS It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Violet Helene Reynolds on September 14, 1999 at the Meadowood Personal Care Home in Winnipeg. Mother was born to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bateman on November 4, 1899 in Eldon County, ON. Together with her parents she moved to Otterburne, MB in 1908. She was educated in the Otterburne School. In 1923 mother married Herbert R. Reynolds. They farmed in the Otterburne area until their retirement. She was predeceased by her husband Bert in 1960, and her daughter Eleanore in 1987. Also, by her sister Marjorie Pattle, as well as three brothers, Clarance, Clifford and Arnold. She is survived by her son Dennis (Katherine) Reynolds of Winnipeg, her son-in-law Robert Christopher of BC and a sister-in-law Glenna Bateman of Edmonton, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Mother was a warm and caring person, who loved her God and family and took great pride in tending to her garden, especially the flowers. She was active in her local church and Womens Auxiliary. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. We wish to express our sincere appreciation to the staff of Meadowood Manor, who so lovingly cared for her during her stay there for the last ten years. Our sincere thanks also to Dr. Henry Dirks who looked after her for many years. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., entrance on Aubrey Street. Flowers are gratefully declined.
