GEORGE SCHEIRING It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father and grandfather, George Scheiring on September 14, 1999 at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 79. He was predeceased by his wife Adele in 1986; his father Jacob, 1977; his mother Therese 1981, and step-mother Agnes, 1998. Dad will be sadly missed by his daughter Eleanora Raffard (Marc) four grandchildren, Chris, Lynda, Richard, Matthew; sons, George Jr. and Willy (girlfriend Susan Reiner) brother Joseph (Shirley) sister Julie Duval (Syl) and a sister in Germany, Magdalena Dreer and a close friend Rose Klym. Dad was born in Yugoslavia on November 16, 1919 and came to Canada where he met and married Mom in 1950. They lived in Winnipeg, working hard to get ahead and enjoy their children in fishing trips and to the cottage on weekends. He also enjoyed being with his grandchildren which he dearly loved. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Viewing prior to the service. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1P6. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
