BEATRICE HASTMAN After a courageous battle with cancer, Mrs. Beatrice Hastman, aged 66 years, beloved wife of Gordon Hastman, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 1999 at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, Manitoba. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family; her husband Gordon; her sons, Glenn and Terry of Winnipeg; her four brothers, Arvid and wife Margot, Alex and wife Esther, Harold and wife Marlene, all of Beausejour, and Garry and wife Barbara of Sioux Lookout, Ontario; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Ferdinand and Rita. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 20 at the Zion Lutheran Church, Gertrude Avenue & 1st Street, Beausejour at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Cone officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Messieurs, Stuart, Steven, Melvin, James and Allan Rattai and Gary Dancho. Friends may view on Sunday, September 19 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel and at the church on Monday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B7.
