GEORGINA EILEEN ALICE ROSS Thursday, September 16, 1999 Georgina passed away as peacefully and quietly as she lived. After an ongoing illness in St. Boniface Hospital she left us to join her beloved husband George for one last dance. She will be remembered and sadly missed as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother by her daughter Winona Pilon (Jerry) granddaughters, Lori, Kelly and Tracy and great-granddaughters, Sarah and Amalae. Georgie was predeceased by her sisters, Mae, Kate, Winona and Mary. She is survived by her remaining sisters, Grace, Norah and Roberta. Georgie was an active participant in the No. 1 Legion for most of her life and wishes to send deepest regards and thanks to her and Georges friends from that most loved group of people. Special thoughts and thanks are conveyed to all relatives and friends who came to know and love her as her immediate family does. Georgie was a wonderful and warm person with a quick smile and a twinkle in her eyes, she will be sadly missed. The family wishes to thank Dr. B. Kvern and the warm and caring staff at St. Boniface Hospital. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made in memory of Georgina to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. Cremation has already taken place. Funeral services to take place on Monday, September 20 at 3:00 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. A private family interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery at a later date.
