MARIA DYCK (TOEWS) Passed into eternal rest on September 16, 1999, Marie Dyck, aged 78 years of the Altona P.C. Home. Left to mourn her passing are her three sons, Lloyd and wife Barb of Halifax, N.S., Wilfred of Edmonton, Alta., and REg and wife Henni (Hon) of Winnipeg; six grandchildren, Nathan, Joel, Robyn, Brent, Kirsten and Benjamin; two sisters, Lora Blain and Frieda Sawatzky of Alberta; and one brother Ed Toews of B.C. Also left to cherish her memory are dear friends, Anton Schellenberg and Katherine Bergen. Despite her long fight with M.S., mom was brave and did not dwell on the limitations imposed on her. She was baptized in 1940 and her deep trust in the Lord gave her strength and comfort. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 20 at 11:00 a.m. in the Altona Bergthaler Mennonite Church, Altona, with Pastor Peter Bartel and David F. Friesen officiating. Interment at the Altona Cemetery. If friends so deisre, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 400 - 141 Bannatyne Avenue, Winnipeg. Many thanks to Dr. K.
