SHEILA HAID (nee ADELMAN) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing away of Sheila Haid, 68, on August 3, 1999, after a brief illness, at her home in Evanston, Illinois. Sheila was born and raised in Winnipeg. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a B.A. and from the University of Toronto with a Masters Degree in Psychology. She was predeceased by her parents Ben and Bessie Adelman and her sister Syvi Krisman. Sheila is survived by her three daughters, Martha and husband Tim Coughlin of Madison, Wisconsin, Melissa Haid of Chimayo, New Mexico and Lorna and husband Jeff Sheperd of Truckee, California and two grandchildren, Jessie and Molly Coughlin. In accordance to her wishes, Sheilas body was given to medical research. A memorial service honouring the memory and celebrating the life of Sheila Haid is planned for later in October in the Chicago area.
