JEAN JACOBS Jean Jacobs was born March 31, 1917 on the home farm at Thunder Hill, Manitoba, the daughter of Henry and Jeanette Goodman. She grew up with four brothers and two sisters. She married Ralph Jacobs at Thunder Hill Church on June 30, 1941, and moved to Winnipeg to begin her married life. Over the 58 years of her married life she and Ralph lived in many locations finally returning to live in Winnipeg last October. She and Ralph were blessed with four sons and a daughter, Robert, Allan (Ann), Alvin (Eileen), William, and Margaret Gutknecht (Lloyd) four grandsons; two granddaughters and a great-grandson. She died at Victoria General Hospital Friday, September 17. She is survived by her brother Charles (Daisy) and sister Dorothy Banks (Sam) and numerous nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her sister Phyllis and brothers, Ted, William and Alan. Funeral service will take place on Monday, September 20 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pauls Anglican Church, 299 Balderstone Road, with Fr. Dennis Dickson officiating.
