ELIZABETH (BETTY) MCHOLM EDMONDS

Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (BETTY) MCHOLM EDMONDS (nee TWEEDLEY) Peacefully after a lengthy illness, on Saturday, September 18, 1999 at the Deer Lodge Centre, Betty Edmonds passed away at the age of 82 years with family members by her side. She was predeceased by her husband Curt in October 1967 and son Wayne in June 1996. Betty will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Jim (Melvina) and Rick (Rhonda) four grandsons, Chad, Jimmy, Jeff and Brent; great-granddaughter Jessica and other family members. Betty was born in Rosser, Manitoba in 1917. She married Curt Edmonds and they lived in West Kildonan most of their lives. Betty was a stay at home devoted mother to their three sons. She was a member of the West Kildonan Legion #30 and the Ladies Auxiliary. Betty enjoyed curling, bingo and taking care of her family. Due to illness she resided at Deer Lodge Centre for the past four and a half years. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 22 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. The family would like to thank the nursing staff on 4E for their wonderful loving care of our Mum. Your kindness will never be forgotten. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made in Bettys memory to the Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Man., R3J 0L3.
