LADO GORENC After a lengthy battle with cancer, Lado Gorenc, beloved husband of Teresa, passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital. Alta (Dad) was born on April 29, 1934 and immigrated to Canada in 1958, and made Winnipeg their home. The journey to Canada was a difficult one. His struggle to better himself and his future family was always on his mind. He was an honest, hard working man with great principles. He left us with so much, that his memory will live on within our hearts forever. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Teresa; son Darko, wife Liza and granddaughter Adrianna and numerous relatives in his native homeland. Pallbearers will be Slavko Stubler, Joze Kosmrlz, Berto Runka and Roy Sankar. Prayers will be said on Monday, September 20 at 7:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 95 MacDonald on Tuesday, September 21. Rev. Fr. P. Hancko presiding. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. KNYSH FUNERAL CHAPEL 582-0973
