Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLENN FRANCIS DINGWALL October 6, 1921 - September 18, 1999 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather and friend, Glenn Dingwall on Saturday, September 18 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by his father Albert, mother Hilda and a brother Alec. Glenn will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jean; daughter Glennis, son James; three grandchildren, Kristopher, Pamela and Sara; brothers, Ronald of San Francisco and Ross (Merle) of Boissevain, sister-in-law Marge of Benito; and nieces, nephews and friends. Glenn was born in Minto, MB on October 6, 1921. He served overseas with the Canadian Armed Forces, Heavy Artillery during the Second World War. Upon his return he worked at various jobs until settling in with Manitoba Hydro for whom he worked for 33 years until retirement. He had been a resident of Gimli for the past 40 years and had been a member of the Gimli Volunteer Fire Dept. At Glenns request, cremation has taken place and a private interment and graveside service will be held. Special thanks to Dr. R.C. Patel, and the nursing and ambulance staff of the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Gimli. Also special thanks to our dear friends who were there for us all through Glenns illness. Donations may be made in Glenns memory to the Johnson Memorial Hospital or the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 182, Gimli. Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli, in care of arrangements.
