MARION GERTRUDE CULLETON (nee SANNESS) It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend on Sunday, September 19, 1999, near her home in Vassar. Marion was born May 5, 1943 in the Spring, in Moody, MB to Thomas and Martha (Grawberger) Sanness. She spent her early years in Piney, MB where she attended school. She resided in Piney until she met and married Joyal Culleton. They were married at Pine Creek Lutheran Church on April 9, 1961. They lived in Vassar most of their married life, where they raised four children. Marion went from Homemaker to Career woman. She worked for many years in the area, where she touched many of the lives around her. Predeceased by her father (Thomas Sanness) and her stepfather (Andrew Morken). Marion will be deeply missed by her husband Joyal; her children, Brenda (Barry), Sharran (Harlan), Wayne (Debbra), Jeremy (Dee-Dee) her 14 grandchildren whom she loved dearly; her mother Martha; sisters, Lillian (Bud), Linda (Bill), and Nora (Ed) her brothers, Danny (Susan) and Dean; her in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and close friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m.at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Vassar, with Pastor Bob Toews officiating. There will be a public viewing at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow in the Vassar Community Cemetery.
