GLENN F. HANSEN 1922 - 1999 After a lengthy battle with cancer, our beloved father Glenn Frederick Hansen, passed away with his family by his side on Monday, September 20, 1999. Glenn was born in Winnipeg, the youngest child of Frederick and Marie Hansen, and resided there for most of his life. Glenn served as Assistant Secretary-Treasurer and Secretary-Treasurer for 32 years for the Seven Oaks School Division until his retirement in 1987. He was a well-known stamp collector and columnist for the Winnipeg Free Press for more than 30 years. He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen M. Hansen in December, 1995. He is survived by his three daughters, Sharon Grzenda (John), Diane Washburn, and Marilyn Bardwell; three granddaughters, Monica Sorensen, Karen Grzenda and Sandra Epp (Rob) and two great-granddaughters, Amanda and Kassandra. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and kindness toward Glenn. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, MB R3E 9Z9. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Kil-Cona Park Alliance Church, 1977 Norris Rd., on Thursday, September 23 at 4:00 p.m. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
