Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARRY HOBDEN Peacefully on Saturday, September 18, 1999 after a prolonged illness, at the Deer Lodge Centre, Harry Hobden formerly of the Harwill District passed away at the age of 83 years. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife Daisy in 1988; sisters, Edith and Dora, brothers, Fred and David. He will be sadly missed by his sons, Chris and Eric, daughter Irene Taylor; three grandchildren; sisters, Ida, Alice, Ruth, and numerous nieces and nephews. Harry was born on January 20, 1916 and lived most of his life in the Hodgson-Harwill area. He joined the Canadian Army in April, 1943 and served overseas during the war. He was discharged in 1946 and returned to the Hodgson area to trap and farm. A special thanks to the nurses and doctors on the 5th Floor of Deer Lodge Centre for their thoughtful care of Harry. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 23 at the M.M.F. Hall, Hodgson, MB at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment in the Hodgson Community Cemetery with Pastor James Thiessen officiating.
