Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER (WALLY) WILLIAM BILENKY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather, Walter Bilenky on September 20, 1999 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Predeceased by his mother and father, Anastasia and John Bilenky and mother-in-law Mary Nowicki. He leaves to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Millie; sons, Wayne (Barb), Randy (Ursula), Brad (Dale) grandchildren, Kimberly, Kristen, Kurtis, Nathan, Nick and Melanie; faithful companion Scooter. Wally was born and raised in the North End of Winnipeg on April 7, 1928. He was with C.N.R. 20 years and later entered into the hotel industry in 1965 through 1987, when he retired from the Sutherland Hotel. Prayers will be said on Thursday, September 23 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Ave. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, September 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Munroe and Watt St. with Rt. Rev. Mitrat G. Oucharyk officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Special thanks to Drs. Tanner, Dolynchuk, Choudrij and Gabriel. Special thanks also to the staff of the M.I.C.U. Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Walters memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, R3C 0S6 or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, R3B 2H8.
