LUELLA GLUFKA On Tuesday, September 21, 1999, Luella, beloved wife of the late Peter Glufka, suddenly passed away. Luella was born on June 6, 1924 in Carman, MB. Peter and Luella were married on September 12, 1942 and they farmed in the Haywood district until 1996 when they moved to Carman. Mom enjoyed time with her family. She was a very kind, thoughtful and gentle lady who always put others needs before her own. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her three girls, Carole and her husband Jack Ross, Rosalie Dunn, Susan and her husband Owen Desnoyers; by her seven grandchildren, Michael Ross, Colleen Ross and Todd Buchanan, Kevin and Roanna Ross; Bryan and Erica Dunn, Grant and Tanya Dunn, Scott and Veronica Dunn and Karen Dunn; by her five great-grandchildren, Mathew, Justin, Meghan and Ally Dunn and Courtney Buchanan. She will also be missed by her sisters, Audrey Funke, Verna Walker (Brown) brother Edward Harrison; nieces, nephews and friends. Flowers gratefully declined but for those who wish donations may be made in Luellas memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Huntington Society or to the Childrens Wish Foundation. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 24 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Johns Anglican Church, 80 2nd St. S.W., Carman, MB. Doyles of Carman in care of arrangements.
