PETER LOS Peter Los, 85 years, passed away on September 21, 1999, at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. Peter was predeceased by his parents, Maxim and Jelenka Los and his sister Anne Lee. He leaves to mourn his wife Sigrid of 20 years; brothers, Paul (Aleta) of Fernie, BC, Maxim (Tillie) of Dauphin and William (Frances) of Sudbury, ON, sisters, Sonia (Andy) Shore of St. Jose, California, Christine (Lewis) Blair of Pensecola, Florida, Frances (Carl) Yurchak of Edmonton, Marie (Donald) Hodden of Calgary and Rosie (Ernest) Stirrup of Ottawa, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Peter loved family gatherings. In 1998 the Los family celebrated 100 years in Canada which was Peters highlight as it was celebrated in Winnipeg. Peter enjoyed rides out in the country especially during the fall time when the crops were being harvested and the countryside was colourful. Many thanks to the Pastoral staff at Calvary Temple for their visits. Prayers will be said on Friday, September 24 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Ave. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Temple, 400 Hargrave St. with Pastor H.H. Barber officiating. Viewing prior to the service from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations in Peters memory may be made to Calvary Place Personal Care Home, in care of 400 Hargrave Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
