Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRONALD DAVISON MUNSON With great sorrow, we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and loving husband, Ronald D. Munson, on September 21, 1999 on Palliative Care at the St. Boniface Hospital. Ron was born in London, England on April 25, 1920. In 1921, he came to Canada with his family and lived in Saltcoats, Saskatchewan, spending many happy years there with good friends whom he continued to stay in touch with after moving to Winnipeg. Ron served in the Forces from 1941 to 1945. After military service, he began work as a draftsman with the city of Winnipeg Engineering Department until 1952. At this time, he entered the contracting field and eventually started his own business until 1985 when he retired. Music played a great part in Rons life, playing professionally with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra in his younger years. Dad enjoyed curling, hockey, travelling and the Breakfast Club. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 54 years Laura; sons, Laurie (Kathy), Fred (Cecelia) daughter Marilyn; grandchildren, Michael (Lisa), Jim, Kevin and Emma. Rons family wishes to thank Marlene (V.O.N.), all the homecare orderlies with special thanks to Kelcey and Joan, as well as to the Palliative Care Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital. Memorial services will be held at Neil Bardal Funeral Chapel, 984 Portage Ave. at Aubrey on Saturday, September 25 at 1:00 p.m. Interment of Rons cremated remains will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rons memory to a charity of ones choice. You never asked for favours Yet you did them everyday You never asked for help. And yet you gave so much away. You never asked for gratitude And yet, our whole life through, Well always be so grateful Just to have had your love and you. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220.
