Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER SANDULAK Accidentally, the afternoon of the 20th of September, 1999 near Mollard Siding. Born on the 15th of November, 1916 at Narcisse, MB eldest son of Alexander and Yustyna (Lewco). Survived by his four children, son Ryan (Grace), grandsons, Tristan, Merrick and Nigel; sons, Ronald and Kenald and daughter Joanne (Roy) Dubois. Also survived by his brothers, John (Wilma), Joseph (Carol), Stanley (Terry), sisters, Marie (Roy) Bausman and Olga; sister-in-law Betty Sandulak; brother-in-law Garth Pickell; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and two aunts, Marie and Catherine Lewco. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Dorothy Green, Myrene Hodgson, Eleanor (Wally) Smithson and Jean Sutton and by his loving and dear mother-in-law Mary Georgina Sutton who will be celebrating her 102nd birthday on the 29th of September, 1999. The Newton Sutton family has been very supportive throughout Peter and Joyces 50 year marriage, and he was ever thankful. Predeceased in March by his loving wife Joyce whom he lovingly and tirelessly cared for during her lengthy illness. He was also predeceased by one infant son Kimberly John; three infant sisters, Marika, Pearl and Cecilia; his parents; sisters, Anne Pickell and Doreen Ribordy and brother William; father-in-law Newton Sutton and brother-in-law Ralph Sutton. Peters journey through life took him from the tiny hamlet of Narcisse, MB in the Interlake to southern Manitoba, Brunkhild, Sperling, Carman area. In 1942 he joined the R.C.A.F. serving overseas in Britain, Belgium, Holland and two and a half years occupational duty in Celle, Germany. Returning home to Sperling in July, 1947. Peter returned to farming in 1948 in the Sperling area and later to Meadows, MB. On October 14, 1949 he married Joyce Sutton and the next 50 years they lived in Winnipeg where they raised their four children. He later owned and operated Moores (Grosvenor) Taxi No. 114 for 15 years. Upon retirement he and Joyce made numerous car trips around our beautiful province and Western Canada. Peter was a kind, gentle, loving man who cared deeply for his family. When his children were small and at play he would always remark See my children - they are my millions. He was a self educated man who was an avid reader. His indepth perception and knowledge of politics, business and science was remarkable. He will be forever remembered by his family with love and tenderness. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. form the Roland United Church in Roland, MB. Interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Roland. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8.
