BELLA CLARK (nee FENNER) Bella Clark (nee Fenner) passed away Saturday, September 18, 1999 at St. Anthonys Hospital, The Pas, at the age of 86 years. Bella was born to Eliza and Alfred Fenner Thursday, May 15, 1913. She spent most of her life in Cormorant and The Pas areas. Bella married Garnet Clark, Tuesday, July 28, 1931, at Christ Church Anglican, The Pas celebrating 68 years together. Her Christian faith was important to her throughout her life which showed in her relationship with family and friends. She is survived by her husband Garnet; children, Deacon Gary Clark, Eileen (Lesley) Turner, Audrey (Orville) Gareau, Shirley (John) deHoop, Julie (Jim) Millar; sisters, Emma (Aaron) Engen and Doris (Alex) Shlachetka; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Eleanor Fenner, Teenie Fenner, Christine Fenner, Ruby (Alex) Graham and Arnold Clark; 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. Bella was predeceased by her son, Raymond; parents, Eliza and Alfred Fenner; brothers and sisters, Tommy (Sadie), Dennis, Fred, Billy, Edward, Annie (Joe) Erickson, and Irene (Aurele) Bourdages. Prayers and Visitation were held Monday, September 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the Chapel of Hemauer Funeral Home, The Pas. A Christian Service of Thanksgiving celebrating the life of Bella Clark was held Tuesday September 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the Christ Church Anglican, The Pas, with presiders Ben. Grahme Spear, Canon Fletcher Stewart, Ven. Lydia Constant, Rev. Irene Personius, and Rev. Gary Clark. The music ministry was: organist, Isobel Halcrow and the Christ Church Choir. Other participants in the service were Ronnie Beardy, Annie Ducharme, and Jim Atkins. Following the interment at Lakeside Cemetery, a reception was held at Christ Church Parish hall. Active Pallbearers were grandsons: Art Turner, Brant Gareau, Michael deHoop, Eldon Millar, Jimmy Turner and Garth Gareau. Honorary Pallbearers were Bellas grandchildren and her many friends. If friends so desire donations to Christ Church Anglican, The Pas, Box 125, The Pas, MB, R9A 1K3 would be appreciated by Bellsa family. Hemauer Funeral Home were in care of arrangements.
