INEZ FERN HUNT (nee TAYLOR) Peacefully on Thursday, September 16, 1999 at Souris Hospital, Inez Hunt passed away at the age of 67. Inez was born in Abbey, Saskatchewan on December 25, 1931. She married Carman Hunt on July 16, 1949, where they took up residence in Winnipeg for 17 years. In 1965, they purchased the Hartney Hotel, which they sold in 1971, but continued with other business ventures in the community. Recently they had celebrated their 50th anniversary. Inez was active in the community as a member of the Legion Auxiliary and Royal Purple. She spent all her spare time with her husband Carman doing the things she loved, travelling, fishing and music. Inez is survived by her husband Carman; children, Dale (Fern), Darlene (Ted), Wendy (Pat), Heather (Kim), Raymond (Donna) 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and her beloved dog Ciggy. She was predeceased by her son Wayne in 1969 and her father Raymond in 1970. Funeral services were held in Hartney, Man. on September 18. Her tremendous zest for life, her sense of humour and capacity for love touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She will remain forever in our hearts.
