Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY AGNES (MAY) PETERSON Passed away September 19, 1999 in Toronto, ON, predeceased in 1956 by husband Gunnar. She will be sorely missed by daughter Beverly, son-in-law David, granddaughter Christine; her brothers Norman of Kamloops, BC and Willis of Prince George, BC, as well as her many relatives and friends across Canada. She lived for many years in the Piney District and since 1943 in Winnipeg until her move to Toronto in 1991. May was a devoted member of Young United Church in Winnipeg for over 45 years. Her many interests included the Embroiderers Society of Canada, the Craft Guild of Winnipeg, Manitoba Historical Society, Eatons Lawn Bowling Club. She retired in 1974 from the Manitoba Government, Motor Vehicle Branch after 20 years of service. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 30 at 11:00 a.m. in Young United Church, 222 Furby St. If desired, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society, Young United Church, or a charity of your choice.
