PATRICIA LEAH SEDLACEK (nee WARKENTIN) Mrs. Patricia Sedlacek, aged 37 years of Winnipeg, devoted wife and mother passed away accidentally on Saturday, September 18, 1999. She is dearly loved and cherished by her husband Derek; her daughter Ashley and sons, Zachary and Sean; her mother Tiena Warkentin; her grandparents, Henry and Agatha Bergen of Steinbach; her father and mother-in-law, John and Doris Sedlacek of Okotoks, Alberta; her two brothers-in-law, Mark and his wife Michelle and their family of Edmonton, Alberta and Timothy and his wife Jolene and their family of Edmonton, Alberta; also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Patricia was predeceased by her father Dave Warkentin, September 1980; her aunt Helen Harder, November 1998 and by her uncle Henry Bergen, November 1994. Patricia was a devoted wife, mother and daughter; the family unit was always the most important thing in her life. She was always very involved with the school her children attended and spent many hours helping where she could. She was also very involved in the church teaching Sunday School and helping with the Kids Club. Patricia was also part of the Kidney Foundation support group. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 28 at 1:00 p.m. in the Waves of Glory Full Gospel Chapel, 364 Furby St., Winnipeg. Pastor Mark Tombs officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Pastor Edwin Wiebe officiating. Friends may view at the Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St., Winnipeg, on Monday, September 27 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and also at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Sedlacek Family Trust in care of Steinbach Credit Union or to any branch of the Royal Bank, Account No. 5068911.
