EVA HANNEYS (PEKRUL) (GRINKE) Peacefully at Surrey Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, September 1, 1999, Eva passed away in her 88th year. She was born on February 14, 1911 in Poland and came to Canada at the age of 16. Eva lived in Winnipeg until the death of her husband Otto in 1975 when she moved to Vancouver. Eva is remembered and greatly missed by her daughters, Margaret Halldorson (Dave), Marilyn Clearwater (Ab), son Garry Pekrul (Yvonne) and grandchildren, Jeffery Halldorson, Leslie Courchesne (Wode), Kristi Jardine (Shane), Michelle Pekrul, Devon Pekrul and Leanne Pekrul. She was predeceased by her husbands Adolf Begalke (1943), Otto Pekrul (1975), Hugo Hanneys (1994) and 12 brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 1311 Dakota Street on October 1, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Faith Lutheran Church memorial fund.
