MARTHA GIBB MCKINNON It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Martha McKinnon on September 26, 1999. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her children, Susan Richter, Janet (Jim) MacKenzie, Dennis (Marj) McKinnon; her grandchildren and great grandchildren; her sisters, Helen (Wally) Ingbirtson, Joan (Scott) Furness, Norma (Ken) Ellinthorpe; nieces and nephews and good friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank; her son-in-law Paul Richter, her sister Jessie Rempel, her brothers Bob and John Livingston. Martha was well known for her warmth, sense of humour and genuine concern for her family and friends. Her positive attitude and cheerful outlook on life enriched the lives of all those she touched. The family would like to thank the Oncology staff and the Palliative care staff on 4 West in Grace Hospital, as well as Drs. P. Harris, M. Stephenson, S. Mulder, J. Robinson for their wonderful support and medical care. A celebration of Marthas life will be held on Thursday, September 30, at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. Flowers gratefully declined. If friends so desire, a donation to The Palliative Care Unit of Grace Hospital, 300 Booth Drive,Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7 or a charity of their choice would be appreciated.
