BERNARD J. SAUNDERS With deepest sorrow, the family wishes to announce the passing of Bernie on Monday, September 27, 1999 in his home, at the age of 72 years. He was predeceased by his wife Mildred; daughter Sandra; mother and father; three sisters, Jessie, May and Eileen; two brothers, Leo and Henry. Bernie is survived by his son-in-law Dave Allery and two grandchildren, Danny and Lindsay; sister and brother-in-law, Isabel and Dick Sobey; sisters-in-law, Jean Saunders and Anne Bench; brother-in-law Richard Janusz, and many nieces and nephews. Bernie was educated at St. Pauls College and was active in football and hockey. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 29 at 2:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 East at Navin Road, with the interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
