JESSIE CAMPBELL BUDWORTH It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Jessie Campbell Budworth on Monday, September 27, 1999. Jessie was born in Winnipeg on May 21, 1912. She married William Henry Budworth on June 12, 1933 and lived in Winnipeg until 1944. They moved to Kenora, Ontario in 1944, returning to Winnipeg in 1963. Jessie worked in the offices of Drs. Paton, Halliwell and Edie in Kenora for many years and as head of the typing pool at the Winnipeg Clinic until her retirement. Jessie was predeceased by her loving husband, William, in November 1978, an infant son in 1947, her brothers David Hamilton and Ross Hamilton and her son-in-law, Lorne McMillan. She will be forever remembered with love by her two sons, William (Bud) and Velma Budworth of Seattle, Washington and Brian and Carole Budworth of Milton, Ontario; her two daughters, Dallas and Roy McIntyre of Burnsville, Minnesota and Darcy McMillan of Winnipeg; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She will also be sincerely missed by her dear sister and best friend, Lillian Jackson, and her two special nieces, Adair Fowler and Paige Phillips. Also left to mourn her passing are her brothers-in-law, Fred Budworth and Fred Bryan and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Oakview Place, especially 1 East, for looking after Jessie so well for so many years. We are very grateful for all that they have done to make her last years so comfortable. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to Oakview Place Nursing Home, 2395 Ness Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3J 1A5 or to the Winnipeg Human Society, one of Mums favourite charities would be appreciated.
