MARIE FRANCES MABLE CAINE (MENEER) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother. On September 25, 1999, at the age of 65, Marie was reunited with her son Robert. Marie was born on June 23, 1934, in McGregor, Manitoba. She enjoyed all the journeys that life took her on, including being an avid speedskater, a young businesswoman, a dedicated wife, a true friend, a devoted mother and a proud grandmother. Marie will be forever treasured by her husband Robert; daughters, Maureen, Eileen-Marie, Patty and Kathleen; sons-in-law, Vince, Chris and Kelly and her precious grandchildren, Robert, Kristina, Patrick, Matthew, Kiah and Kasey. Each and every person Marie met will remember her unselfish nature, unconditional acceptance, ability to forgive and enthusiasm for life. She always found something good in everyone and everything. Despite lifes challenges, Marie always found a reason to smile. Marie was the foundation of our family. We will work hard to make her proud of us, by living our lives based on the values she instilled in us - kindness, sharing, compassion, generosity, respect and forgiveness. The following words from the Bible are a reflection of how Marie lived her life: there are three things that last: faith, hope and love; and the greatest of these is love. (I Co. 13:1-7,13). Thank you so much for loving us - too much! Cremation has taken place, care of Korban Funeral Chapel. All friends and family are welcome to share in a celebration of her life on Friday, October 1 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Aidans Anglican Church, 274 Campbell Street.
