Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARLING NORRIS OLSON On Monday, September 27, 1999, Arling Olson passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years at Betel Home, Selkirk, Man. Born August 10, 1911 in Teulon, Man. Arling will be greatly missed by his wife Louisa; sister Anna Larson; and children, Maureen (Hartley) Kern, Anna (Bob) Cook, Ole (Wende) Olson; two step-daughters, Bea (Stewart) Nordine, Myrtle (Eugene) Nesbit; and grandchildren and nephews. Arling was predeceased by his parents and three brothers, Ole, Jim and Bert. Arling grew up and lived most of his life in the Norris Lake district. He will always be remembered by his family and friends for his quiet and gentle personality that touched the hearts of all those who knew him. The family would like to thank the staff at Betel Home where Arling spent the last six years of his life for their care and much compassion shown to Arling and the family. The funeral service will be held Thursday, September 30 at 2:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon, Man. Pastors Bernie Unrau and Jake Wiebe will officiate. Interment will follow in the Norris Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Betel Home, 212 Manchester Ave., Selkirk, R1A 0B6. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon, in care of arrangements.
