Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUDOLPHE (RUDY) JEAN ALPHONSE DUFORT December 7, 1923 September 28, 1999 Rudolphe left this world gently, with his dear wife Mildred at his side. Our beloved father, grandfather, husband, friend and mentor passed away September 28, 1999 at the Beausejour Hospital. Survived by his loving wife and partner of 55 years, Mildred; his children, Donald, Gerald, Richard, Michelle, Yvonne and Bernard; his grandchildren, Zoel, Stephanie, Nicole, Aaron, Lauren, Travis, Andy, Danielle, Andrea, Patrick; his daughters-in-law, Maureen, Maureen; and his son-in-law Chuck. Also survived by his sister Pat; and his brothers, Maurice, Paul, Aime, Ferdinand, Camille and Denise; as well as many dearly beloved friends and acquaintances. Rudolphe lead an interesting and bountiful life: from his youthful patriotic participation in the Royal Canadian Navy, to his experiences in Canadas great northland, from a home carpenter and antique collector to his career as a Human Resources Supervisor, from a full time humanistic philanthropist to the Mayor of Uranium City, from a community youth supporter to a Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus... Rudolphe lived life to its fullest, and all who shared in it were rewarded through the goodness and energy of his spirit. The family would like to extend thanks to all the individuals who were involved in Rudolphes medical care, as well as to the friends and acquaintances who were there to lend support during this trying time. In keeping with Rudolphes giving nature, if friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of their choice. Funeral services will be held at the Anola Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, October 2 at 1:00 p.m.

Thinking of you today, as I normally do when the weather changes. You have a new great-granddaughter and she’s beautiful. I named her after you and wish so desperately that you could meet her. I want her to have your warmth, grace, kindness and generosity. She will learn all about you and I can’t wait to share my memories with her. I thank you for hearing my prayers. I love you always, Lauren - Posted by: Lauren (Grandaughter) on: Sep 03, 2020
