WILLIAM BILL ZDAN On Saturday, September 25, 1999 Bill Zdan of Saskatoon, SK passed away peacefully at the age of 80 years. Bill was born and raised in Glenella, MB. He joined the army in 1940 and served overseas. Following the war, he moved to Winnipeg where he married and raised a family. After retirement, he lived in Portage la Prairie, MB. Saskatoon has been home for the last three years. Bill will be remembered for his commitment to family and his enjoyment of the great outdoors. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Anne; one son Ron (Ginny) of Saskatoon, one daughter Norine (Don) of Edmonton; five grandchildren, Jason, Ashley, Nikki, Jennifer, and Kathryn; one sister Nellie of Winnipeg, one brother Mike of Winnipeg; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by a granddaughter; his parents; seven sisters and two brothers. A funeral service was held at Park Funeral Chapel, Saskatoon, SK on Wednesday, September 29, officiated by Fr. Morris Dzurman, C.SS.R. Interment will take place in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, 4355 Main St., Winnipeg, MB on Saturday, October 2 at 11:30 a.m. The service will be officiated by Rev. Deacon Michael Strilec. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of Canada, 21 St. Clair Ave., Toronto, ON M4T 1L9 or to a charity of your choice.
