MICHAEL (MIKE) MINSKY On Wednesday, September 29, 1999 at the Concordia General Hospital after a brief battle with cancer Mike passed away. He is survived by his beloved wife Jean (Sesak) to whom he was married to for 44 years; son Darryl (Chris) mother Barbara; brother Garry; sister Mary; step-father-in-law Mike Zacharkiw; sister-in-law Marge Sesak and many nephews and their families. Mike was predeceased by his father Fred; mother-in-law Josie Zacharkiw and brother-in-law Bill Sesak. Mike was born on July 10, 1935 in Winnipeg where he resided his entire life. He was employed with Moore B. Forms and after 42 years of service he retired in 1994. Mike will not only be greatly missed by his neighbourhood Golden Girls, but also by his many friends who could always count on him for a favour. All of his dear family and friends are considered honourary pallbearers. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of Concordia General Hospital for their care and compassion. Donations in Mikes memory may be made to Concordia General Hospital, Building Fund or a charity of ones choice in lieu of flowers. We did not know that morning, What sorrow the day would bring, The bitter grief and shock severe, To part with one we loved so dear. You bid no one a last farewell, No chance to say goodbye, You were gone before we knew it, Only God knows why. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. on Saturday, October 2 at 11:00 a.m. Innichement Garden of Serenity, Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
