Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHERB COOPER After a brief illness, Herb Cooper passed away at the Grace Hospital on Thursday, September 30, 1999, at the age of 56. He was predeceased by his parents Ida and Thomas Cooper. Herb is survived by his loving wife and best friend Donna; his daughter Debbie (George) his grandchildren Michael and Amanda; one brother Tom; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Herb is also survived by mother-in-law Peggy McPherson; sister-in-law Arlene (John) Tribble; and brother-in-law Bill (Louella) McPherson. Herb was born on February 13, 1943 in Winnipeg. He graduated from St. James Collegiate in 1962 and it was there that he met his future wife Donna. Herb began working for the Bank of Nova Scotia in 1962 and remained employed with them until his passing. Dad enjoyed the time he spent curling at Deer Lodge and most recently golfing at the Assiniboine Golf Club. He enjoyed taking his warm winter vacations especially to Arlene and Johns in Florida. There was a special place in Grandpas heart for his two grandchildren, Michael and Amanda. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the friends and colleagues at the Scotia Bank for their support, as well as to his Early Morning Coffee Cronies. A special thank you to Drs. D. Fewer and Schroeder and the staff at the Cancer Brain Tumour Clinic. At Herbs request, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. A gathering of friends will be held at a later date, details will follow. A very special thank you to our friends Graham and Rosemarie Campbell, Graham and Gail Ross, Carl and Judy Meub, Bob and Margie Stroh and Gerry and Marilee Desrosiers.
