ABRAHAM LAUSMANN Peacefully, on Thursday, September 30, 1999 at the Central Park Lodge. Abraham passed away at the age of 80. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Eva, his two sons Heinz (Tracy) and his children Jenny and Joshua; Dieter (Pamela) and his children Holly, Matthew, Jaime and Hailey. Dad was born on February 19, 1919 in Zapust, Poland and lived through the war years. He met and married his wife Eva in 1942. He then moved to Canada with his family in 1957 to join his many brothers and sisters. Dad worked for many years for various companies including Thorkelson, Dycks and Federal Pioneer. He retired in 1984 and spent his remaining years enjoying spending time with his family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 5, at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens and a reception will be held in Chapel Lawn Reception Centre.
