RODOLPHE JULIEN PIROTTON Peacefully on September 29, 1999 Rodolphe Julien Pirotton of Kildonan Personal Care Center passed away.Rod was predeceased by his loving wife Irene (nee Lofvendahl), his parents Nicolas and Felicie and sister Alice Sourisseau. Left to mourn are his brother Nicolas and wife Phyllis, brother-in-law Marc Sourisseau and numerous nieces and nephews. Rod was a life long resident of Norwood until moving into Kildonan Center. He was a skilled stone engraver and worked with Swifts for many years until his retirement in 1978. In his younger years he was well known as a cycle racer with the Belgian Club and loved to play the ponies at the Assiniboia Downs. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Bob Sparling and Carol Pease for their timeless care and devotion to Rod particularly during the last few years. Their friendship and kindness was a great comfort to him and very much appreciated by us. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, October 4, at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Cross Church, Enfield at Traverse with Reverend Fr. James Gray presiding. Interment to follow at St. Boniface Cemetery.
