LYNDA OLGA MILLER (nee SINGBELL) September 8, 1944- September 30, 1999 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Lynda Miller, aged 55, on Thursday, September 30, 1999 at Health Science Centre after a short battle with cancer. She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, William and Olga Singbell; her brother Elmer Singbell; her children, Teresa, Roger (friend Carolyn) and Andrea. Also left to mourn her are her precious gifts from God, her grandchildren, Matthew, Candace and Chantel. Mom was born in Winnipeg on September 8, 1944 to parents and a brother who loved her dearly. After high school she married and mothered three children. In 1977, she graduated from St. Boniface School of Nursing as an L.P.N. Always involved in the health care field, she worked on Medicine for three years at St. Boniface until finding her place at Seven Oaks Hospital in 1980 where she worked until the time of her passing. Mom has always devoted her life to the care of others. She was a wonderful nurse and well respected and thought of by everyone she touched. She was a loving, generous mother, daughter, grandmother and friend who gave of herself right up to the end. She enjoyed spending her free time gardening and adoringly chasing after her grandchildren. Also mourning her memory is her niece and her children. Lynda will be remembered kindly by family and many friends. Pallbearers will be Leonard Singbeil, Wilfred Schoenborn, Karl Schoenborn, Garry Singbeil, Garry Wasylowski and Larry Ulrich. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, October 5 at 7:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 6 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Don Engel officiating. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff and doctors of GD6 and MICU for their care and kindness. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., R3C 2B7. There are two kinds of tears, tears for those who leave you and tears for those that never go away. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
