Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET EVANGELINE McCREA (nee McLAUGHLIN) Passed away peacefully on October 2, 1999, at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg after a lengthy illness. Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Reverend Edward McCrea; her brother, Donald Murray McLaughlin; nieces, nephews and their children. She was predeceased by her brothers James and Duncan Rae and their parents Anne Shaw McLaughlin and Duncan McLaughlin. Margaret was born on a farm near Plumas, Man. and moved to a farm Oakville, Man., as a young girl. She spent many years in the teaching profession in rural Manitoba and with the Winnipeg School Division Number 1 and also at Balmoral Hall. She enjoyed and derived great satisfaction working with and helping children and following their later careers. Margaret was a long time member of the Westminster United Church serving various capacities through the years. Funeral service will be held in the Westminster United Church, Maryland at Westminster, on Thursday, October 7 at 1:30 p.m. with the Reverend Robert Campbell and Mrs. Rose Ferries officiating. Friends may call for visitation at the Omega Funeral Home, 83 Royal Rd. S., Portage la Prairie, on Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made the Westminster United Church Foundation, 745 Westminster Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3G 1A5 or to a charity of your choice.
