Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM RALPH LEE Born at Crandall, Man. on November 2, 1913. Passed away peacefully at the Royal Columbian Hospital on October 1, 1999. Bill was an educator for over 40 years. His teaching career began in Seven Sisters Falls, Man., at the age of 19. After serving in the Second World War with the R.C.A.F., Ferry Command as a navigator, he returned to teaching at various Winnipeg District schools. He then became principal of Red Deer Technical Vocational High School, Red Deer, Alta., and Yorkton Comprehensive Secondary School, Yorkton, Sask. His career culminated as principal of New Westminster High School, New Westminster, B.C. in 1969, retiring in 1979. He will be forever remembered for his lifelong dedication to learning, educating, sharing with young people and community service. All of his family will forever cherish his devotion and unconditional love for them. Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Lucy; sons, Michael Patrick (Brenda) of Cooper Creek, B.C., and Peter William John (Debbie) of Nelson, B.C.; daughters, Patricia Elizabeth Lee (Donald) of Sooke, B.C., Mary Anne King (Gordon) of Ottawa, Ont., and Janet Lillian Hutchinson (James) of Keewatin, Ont.; grandchildren, Heather Brooks (Kevin), Jonathan Lee, Tawnee Matheson (Tom), Robbie McKenzie, Danica Lee, Susan and William Cant, Laura and Timothy King, Jennifer and Jillian Hutchinson; great-granddaughter Hailey Matheson. Funeral service on Tuesday, October 5 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Stephen the Martyr Anglican Church, 9887 Cameron St., Burnaby (just behind Lougheed Mall). Cremation.
