BERTHA MARIE PRAIRIE 1906 - 1999 It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Bertha Prairie at the Lundar Personal Care Home on October 5, 1999. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Prairie; her first husband Alexandre Coutu; daughter Laurette; sons, Antonin, Gerard and Gilbert; son-in-law Gillis Allard; daughter-in-law Eileen Coutu. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Leandre (Aurea), Rene, Oscar (Linda), Fernand, her daughters, Denise (Armand), Angela (Ted), Anita; her stepchildren, Georgette (Archie), Emilia (Lynn), George, Rita (Edgar), Paul (Yvonne), Laurent (Susan), Therese (Marc) her grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; as well as one brother-in-law Herve Coutu (Florence) and one daughter-in-law Val. Following cremation, funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church, St. Laurent, MB on Friday, October 8 at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Laurent Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, MB. We also express our gratitude and appreciation to all the staff at the Lundar Personal Care Home for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
