MYRTLE LAURENA SWANSON The death of Myrtle Laurena Swanson occurred at East View Lodge, Neepawa on October 5, 1999. Myrtle was predeceased by her husband Oscar in 1994. Myrtle lived in the Brookdale area most of her life until she and Oscar retired from farming and moved to Neepawa. Myrtle is survived by her son Charlie and his wife Kathleen, her daughter Mona and her husband Millen Johnston. She will be greatly missed by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and her sisters, Hilda McDonald (Eldon), Isabel Hume and Olivia Curle (Mal). Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 8 at 2:00 p.m. in Brookdale United Church, Brookdale, with Rev. George Cargo officiating. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery. Whites Funeral Home, Neepawa in care of arrangements.
