MYRTLE WILLIAMS (nee Chase) Suddenly on October 5, 1999 at her residence, The Maples Personal Care Home, Myrtle passed away at the age of 83 years. She was predeceased by her husband George in 1976. She is survived by three children, a daughter, Frances (England) and two sons, Arnold (Cathy) and David (Patricia) both of Winnipeg; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Myrtle was born at 111 Inkster Blvd. and resided there for 77 years before moving to The Maples Personal Care Home in 1993. Myrtle worked for many years at the Metropolitan store on Portage Ave. and than as an usher at both the Odeon and Garrick theatre. Later in life she worked at the Deluxe (Hyland) theatre as a cashier until her retirement. Sincere thanks to the staff at The Maples Personal Care Home for treating Myrtle like family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society in Myrtles memory. Arrangements through Cropo Funeral Chapel, 586-8044.
