REGINA MARIE RICHARD (nee DAIGNEAULT) Peacefully, on Tuesday, October 5, 1999, Regina Richard passed away with her family at her side at the Grace Hospital, at the age of 88. She was predeceased by her husband Oliva (Vava) Richard. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Ulysse (Gerry), Edward (Kathy), Gisele, Claudette (Phil T.), Normand (Sheryl) 7 grandchildren, Rodney (Bernadine), Rachel - La Vielle Carrote (Kevin), Bernadette (Bernard), Paula (Doug), Yvan, Nicole, Cordelle; 6 great-grandchildren, Matthew (Spanky), Tyler, Brittany, Jesse, Cailee, Nicolas, as well as many numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was born on August 20, 1911 and raised in St. Francois Xavier. She met and married Vava in 1941 and together they raised their five children on the family farm in St. Francois Xavier. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Regina will be forever remembered for her love of card games, baking, and especially her "Hot Mustard". Her trips to Hawaii, Caribbean Cruise, Las Vegas, and her numerous trips to Fargo to visit with Dads cousins, Maurice and Tony Richard, were all memorable events in her life. Mom was very proud of her children and grandchildren and she will remain in our hearts forever. At Moms request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 9, at 2:30 p.m. at St. Francois Xavier Church.
