CECILE (CIS) HUNT (nee EARL) Peacefully, on Wednesday, October 6, 1999 Cecile M. Hunt passed away at Concordia Hospital, at the age of 88 years. Cis will be lovingly remembered by children, Harry (Millie), Pat (Terry) Whiteside, and Ron; grandchildren Donica (Danny) Friedman, Earl (Colleen), and Terry Hunt, Grant, and Sean (Trena) Whiteside, Laura, Greg Hunt, and Holly Yager, and three great-grandchildren, Riley, Casey, and Kyle; brothers Gordon, Richard (Dick), and William (Bill), and sister Winnifred (Winnie) and many nieces and nephews. Cis was predeceased by her husband Charles, brothers, Bert, Roland, and Vernon, and sister Kay. Cis was born in England and immigrated to Canada at an early age with her parents, brothers and sisters. She married Charles on July 14, 1934 residing in Whitemouth until 1960, and then moving family to Winnipeg. In her retirement years, she loved to do painting and pottery which displayed her artistic ability. Mom was always thinking of others before herself. She will be sadly missed by all. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 12 at 11:30 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue with her brother Richard Earl officiating. Family and friends will gather at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home at 11:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald Street, Wpg., MB R3B 2H8.
