MICHAEL KOMAR After a lengthy illness, Michael passed away on Thursday, October 7, 1999 at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Gimli, Man. at the age of 85 years. Michael is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rose; daughter Margaret; sister Nettie Kostelniak (Edward) brother-in-law Peter Pawluk; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father William in 1959; mother Pearl in 1965 and his sister Sophie in 1988. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 12 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Fr. Harry Oliynek officiating. Interment of ashes to follow in the Winnipeg Beach Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
