PIERRETTE LEVESQUE January 14, 1934 - October 7, 1999 Peacefully, with courage and dignity, surrounded by her family, Pierrette passed away October 7, 1999. Pierrettes memory will be cherished by her loving husband, George, of 46 years. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children, Denis (Marilyn), Gerry (Jeannie), Karen Stoetzel (Rick), Rick (Tara) and Cindy Levesque-Brown. She also leaves to mourn her 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her father Joseph Champagne, her mother Jeanne Champagne (nee Girard) her daughter Janice; her brothers, Roger and Roland Champagne, her sisters, Florence Freund and Bernadette Desrocher. She is survived by her brothers, Gerard, Rudolphe, Bernard, Guy, Albert and Marcel, and her sisters, Eloria, Flore and Claudette. It broke our hearts to lose you But you did not go alone For part of us went with you The day God called you home. Though your smile is gone forever And your hand we cannot touch We will never lose the memory Of one we loved so much. Thanks for the loving years you gave us The happy times we shared We all pray that when you left us You knew how much we cared. Our family chain is broken And nothing seems the same But as God calls us one by one The chain will link again. We love you Pierrette, Mom, Grandma, Great-grandma and friend. You will forever remain in our cherished memories and our hearts. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment & Research Foundation, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will be held in the Ste. Anne Church on Wednesday, October 13 at 10:30 a.m. Sincere thanks to the staff of 5A at the St. Boniface Hospital and Ste.
